Saint Patrick day is March 17th. Simons got hurt on February 14th. With that nasty landing he had, no way he’s back in middle of March. If he does come back this year, it will be closer to April. There is no timetable for his return for a reason, he may still have torn a ligament somewhere, just not fully broken
That's because we were pumping all the Toradol into Payton. Plenty Toradol now. And I am really sick of all these Toradol jokes but they just write themselves...
In my non medical professional opinion having seen many terribly rolled ankles in my life including my own I’d say it’s gonna be on the 6-10 week end if he doesn’t end up getting surgery. Honestly might have been better if he had a clean snap bones heal quick. Ligaments do not.
You do have a point unless they make the playoffs. Could this team decide to tank? Sure. Obviously they did last year. IMHO that won't happen with Lillard on the court. I guess we'll see.
I have read that with the tape and types of braces they wear it doesn't make a difference. I have always questioned that but obviously i have no idea.
I'm hoping this injury to Simons (and the lack of offense from the starters and bench) doesn't force Damian to go into hero mode all the time and cause him to get hurt/exhausted by the middle of march. IF they're going to make the playoffs (which I don't want them to/think they will), they WILL need at least 2 other people stepping up on a regular basis.
Never played high level basketball ever so im not sure whats the normal in that, but in skating most people try to avoid ankle braces and tape when actually skating because it tends to weaken the muscle your trying to strengthen. But different sports n what not so theres that too...
