False - if you mean his real potential as a 18/10 guy? then definitely not. Unless he gets that short little jumper consistent and a few post moves, then he's not gonna be any threat on offense. On defense, he'll have to learn how to play some damn team defense.

T/F - We should have drafted a big man in the draft.

False. The Sixers need more depth at the big man spots, but at the time we were drafting, there were no big man that time IMO worthly of the 13th overall pick. As for our second rounder? I don't really know much about any big man in the 2nd round, so I'm pretty happy about getting a defensive minded guard in Bobby Jones.

True or False, Webber will play at least 70 games this season

true because Allen Iverson and Chris Webber combined for over 50 points last season which was the more then Shaq and Wade

    true or false
Rodney Carney will have a better rookie year then Andre Iguodala did?

What? That wasn't the question I was asking. [IMG] Anyways, as for your question? It depends. I think Rodney will be much more of a factor on the offensive side of the ball, but not as effective as Iggy on defense. It's kind of hard to say as of now since they are both different players.

    True or False,

Iggy will make an All Defensive Team

This year? False. Especially if Ai gets traded he will have to carry more of the load offensively. If you are asking about if he will make one ever? I think he will make many All Defense Teams.

    T/F
A player other than AI will average over 20 PPG this coming season

True. Webber will always be around that 20 per game mark. I also think that Iggy will be hovering around the 20 ppg figure also. Carney and Korver will be in the 12 - 15 range.

True or False: Sixers will get Drew Gooden?

I doubt it, I mean what will he just be on this team? A backup to Webb?

True or False- Letting go of Salmons will hurt us down the road?

False. It's tough to answer that but it looked like he wasn't going to get any playing time if he stayed on our team.

    T/F
Webber will put up 20 and 10 again this year...

False he didn’t do it last season, and with yet another year of mileage under his belt I don’t think he can do it this season, unless AI is traded for younger players in which case he would get more touches. Even then, I am not 100% sure; he would, because of the rebound factor. We will have to see though…

T/F Both Carney and Jones participate in the Rookie All Star game.

Because of the slow off season, I'm being this thread back.

Quote:

T/F Both Carney and Jones participate in the Rookie All Star game.

False. Rodney Carney will participate in the Rookie / Sophomore game, and maybe the Dunk Contest, but I don't see Bobby Jones making it in any of the events at the All Star break.

    True or False,

    The Sixers sign Steven Smith

True, Steven Smith is impressing everyone and King would be stupid not to.

T/F: Rodney Carney will posterize a veteran this year.
    hahaha

True, he's a "high flyer" afterall. By the way, Billy King IS stupid, so we most likely won't be signing Steven Smith.

True or False, Iverson will up his assists this season.

True, but i think his points will go down.

Webber gets moved by the end of the offseason.

False, I think they only way if before the season, but if he puts up stats like last season maybe a couple teams might be interested just for the playoffs or injuries to their players or something.

True or False - Iverson scores 60 in one game.

False, He will more then likely have at least one 50 point game, but a 60 point? i dont know...

True or False- with the development of the younger players, and iverson sharing the ball more, the sixers will be over .500

True. Everyone I talk to said that AI NEEDS to move the ball more. If it means his points go down then o well....basketball is a team sport. What's the point of putting some of the leagues best shooters (Korver, Iggy) on the floor if they dont get touches. More pointes=more chances to win=better record. I see a .500 if not better season this year.

True or False-Webber slows the team down again this season.

True. This team hasn`t really sped up in any other aspect of their game.

T/F- Carney was the right choice of the Draft for us.

True. Rodney Carney or Marcus Williams would've been the best choices for us at that point in the first round, either way Carney was a good pick.

T/F- We make a big trade by the deadline?

True, I think it will involve either Iverson or Webber, depending on whos value goes up during the season.

T/F - Carney starts and Korver becomes a very effective spark of the bench.

True. But maybe later in the season. I think they'll start Korver in the beginning of the season just to see how Carney handles the league. If he proves to be a powerhouse starting, then he will. Korver proved to be effective coming off the bench. I think he dropped his 31 points coming off the bench but i could be wrong.

True or False-The offense becomes less focused on AI and more focused on moving the ball around to the sharpshooters in Kover, Igoudala, Carney, and Green.
