I know Jason Richardson did that dunk in one of his three dunk contest appearances.Obviously if Nate was taller it would give him more options, but it wouldn't look as impressive as his dunks look now because he would be the same height as the other contestants. Even now he's an overrated dunker... last year he got sympathy points because it took him 30,000 attempts to make a dunk, but this year the judges were right on with their assessments (except on the sticker dunk).

Considering how creative and daring he already is at his size, imagine what he could do if he was taller?I agree he got sympathy points last year and Iggy CLEARLY deserved it, but it wasn't like he put on a bad performance last year. He had some impressive dunks, despite taking 20 tries on 2 of them (between legs off 2 feet, dunk over spudd, alley oop 360 were all very nice). And you thought Gerald Green's final dunk deserved the only 50 of the contest? I thought that wasn't even the 2nd best dunk of the contest!

Gerald's first 2 dunks were better, Dwight's sticker dunk should have gotten a 50, and Nate's first dunk was very nice.

Sorry I didn't reply until now, I skipped the dunk contest to go to a party. I recorded it and just finished watching it this afternoon.Tyrus Thomas (First dunk) I give this a 6 out of 10 for his extension and huge leap. It wasn't very creative, the dunk as been done plenty of times before.Gerald Green (First dunk) This one gets a 10 from me. It's hard to dunk coming from the side of the backboard but he threw down a windmill as well. Look at where his head is at on the rim, his vertical leap is insane.Dwight Howard (First dunk) I give this dunk an 8, it's obvious he was just being conservative with this one. Windmills are hard to do, and he got major hang time for a big guy. It looked smooth despite his size.Nate Robinson (First dunk) You gotta give this a 10 because of his leaping ability. Now only did he jump high as hell, but the ball was cocked back pretty far. He really impressed me with this dunk, it was amazing.Tyrus Thomas (Second dunk) I give this dunk a 9, the man BROKE THE RIM. That's power dunking at it's finest, plus the jump over Ben Gordon looked amazing.Dwight Howard (Second dunk) Gotta go with a 10 on this one, I don't think people realize exactly how hard this dunk would be to pull off. He has to hold the sticker, place it on the backboard, and then concentrate on making the dunk.It was extremely creative, and he got robbed by the judges. Dwight Howard should have been in the final round, not Robinson.Nate Robinson (Second dunk) I give him props for the spin, but this gets an 8 from me. I don't think the dunk would be that hard to pull off, it didn't impress me much.Gerald Green (Second dunk) Another 10 from me for Gerald Green, the thought to jump over another contestant has never been done before. I love the creativity he used with the Dee Brown dunk as well, that dunk is incredibly hard to pull off. I have tried it on little rims, and couldn't do it. Look at how high his legs are in the dunk, it's insane.Nate Robinson (Third dunk) I didn't find this dunk impressive at all. All he did was grab the rim on the dunk, which isn't hard to do. I give this one a 7/10 just for the fact that he's a little guy.Gerald Green (Third Dunk) I give this a 7/10, I feel he could have done a little more than throw down a basic two handed dunk. Those dunks in the final round made the contest boring.Nate Robinson (Fourth dunk) The dunk was pretty good, and I would give it an 8. But because he missed so many times, I only give it a 7. He needs to practice his dunks more before hand so the fans aren't stuck waiting around for something, it kills the excitement.Gerald Green (Fourth Dunk) I give this an 8, it wasn't very creative. I know guys in my basketball league who can dunk over a table, it's not overly impressive.
Like Tony, I went to a party and missed it (I knew I wouldn't be missing much). Nate Robinson's first dunk was amazing, he was up so f*cking high...blew me away....Gerald Green's backboard dunk was great, the guy just floates in the air, Howard's dunk with his picture was cool, he looked better than I thought he would, one of the most amazing athletes I've ever seen in my life.
