So in your list that would put Bynum at #6. Behind Biedrins and Jefferson. (and we agreed on Kaman, Yao and Dwight) Jefferson I don't know, but I would put Biedrins after Bynum.

Without adjusting their stats to mpg, since you feel it would not be linear:
    Bynum --63.6% FG% 13.1 ppg, 10.2 rpg, 2.1 bpg, 1.7 apg, 28.8 mpg
    Biedrins 62.5% FG% 10.5 ppg,, 9.8 rpg,, 1.2 bpg, 1.0 apg, 27.3 mpg

I could go either way about Jefferson vs. Bynum, in a head to head matchup where Al Jefferson is playing center, I would take Bynum. However I think that Jefferson is more naturally a 4 at 6'10. I don't get to see Jefferson play much, so I wouldn't really argue about Bynum vs. Jefferson.

Yea, I flipped the mpg for Biedrins and Bynum for the adjusted per 35 mpg, which I fixed. the rebounds is negligible, just like the FG%, however Bynum still is better at the bpg, apg, and ppg.

Dennis- Please take that evil mouse off your signature. It's upsetting to look at it over and over as I read this thread.

    I'm serious.

to me I rate them pretty close overall as prospects... or, AB is pretty good as well. I have my suspicions who will, but we'll just have to see if anyone breaks out of the young centers pack.

How can a mouse with one black eye and the other scarlet be evil? Now if that mouse had one eye purple and the other yellow, then THAT would be an evil mouse. To me it looks like that mouse has been blessed by the Almighty.

Next up: Shawn Marion. I think it's safe to say that Oden won't make the list.

I think Oden and LMA will make it next year if SLAM has another top 50 NBA players. Oden might be in the top 50 now but they can't put someone that never played a NBA game.

I hope they show that list to LMA. Oden will be there next year.

Here's who I think has to be the remaining 19, in no particular order:

Deron, Boozer, Dirk, KG, Duncan, Pierce, Nash, Amare, Paul, Kobe, LeBron, Iverson, Melo, Wade, Baron, Manu, Yao, Dwight.

I think the 19th is Arenas but that leaves out Turkoglu and Rashard Lewis. But I don't think either of those two are top 19 material, but certainly belong in the top 50. Jefferson got left out in the cold too. I'm gonna go with Arenas. What do you think?

I think Caron Butler isn't better than Brandon Roy.

...or Shawn Marion or Tony Parker.

But then I'm also jaded by being a Blazer fan and being enamored by his upside.

Frankly, if I had a choice I'd pick Kevin Martin and Kevin Durant over a lot of guys on this list, and they were #49 and #50.

But I'm a fan of a team that's been rebuilding for so long that I tend not to evaluate players on who they are, but who they will be. So that's probably my problem.

Should he be #20? I'm truly having hard time recalling how well he played last season. Someone please refresh my memory.

He played well. He used to be a top 5 player, but you can't count on him to play a whole season. And his numbers weren't his best. 42% shooter from the field. Less than 30% from the three point line. 22 ppg, 5rpg, 6apg. That puts him at #20.
