I live in a pretty big city, but ive always wondered how it would be to live in a small town, I always think of old slasher films though when I think about them.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (JustBlaze @ Dec 25 2006, 12:51 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I love both. I live in a town of 8,000, it's quiet, everyone has lots of land, it's a nice place to live. Lowell is about 15 minutes away, and I'm there just about every week, it has around 100,000 people, it kind of sucks. Boston is about 30 minutes away, and I love it there. I guess I like small towns and big cities, but medium cities kinda suck. I wouldn't want to live in Boston all the time because it's loud and busy, but I love going there, and coming back to my small quiet town. I suppose I can appreciate the positive aspects of both.</div>[IMG] I live like 5 mins from Lowell, I f*cking hate Lowell, and I love Boston. Lowell is a piece of sh*t, I drive through there to go to work 3-4 times a week, and I just get so pissed off. GOD I f*cking HATE LOWELL. My town is pretty big, pretty well off, etc. It's alright, there just isnt much to do, so I'm always going to Boston, Tewksbury, Lowell, Methuen, Haverhill, etc.

Population size, what do you guys consider big? I dont consider Lubbock big, more like a medium sized town. It was like 200,000 residents. Its growing pretty rapidly lately as well. Lots of new housing communities being built. Cookie cutter houses. I like it here though. We have some things to do, but we really arent that close to anything real fun. Like Dallas is 4 hours away and San Antonio is like probably 7-8. Not sure how far from Austin. These are probably the best cities in Texas to go out and have fun. Like party, sporting events, music, family fun. Lubbock has a little bit of everything. I used to live in a town of about 10,000 in West Texas where there wasnt one f*cking thing to do. I guess thats why I played basketball every free minute. Big City> Small Town for pjcolpitts.

I live in a small town. Nothing to do what so ever; but places aren't extremely crowded so that's great!

Chelmsford has 36,000 residents and I'd consider that a medium sized town, Lowell has 100k and that's a city to me. My town of 8,000 is definitely small though.

I actually pay for my own sh*t, have a job, am not preppy, spoiled, or stuck up, etc. I'm pretty well off, but my parents don't pay for sh*t...

Andover's not that bad lol, I used to work in Concord every day and half of my house is in Acton, those have to be two of the worst towns around for rich preppy kids.

Big Town - I like the feel of a city like Chicago, Detroit, or NY kinda thing.

They're so good at tennis because they're in the Dual County league (Concord- Carlisle and Acton-Boxboro). A lot of rich kids there, hate them.
