I'm pretty pessimistic about the current build ,BUT strange things have happened in the NBA! there's a chance Mayers will put 14 and 10 and CJ will do a McGrady to the Magic type jump and become a 20PPG guy while winning Most Improved award...with A LOT of luck we CAN make it to the 8th seed. My fav pic this year: I thought the following boring game was actually one of our most intriguing games last year: First half: same old boring Pick n' pop with LMA, saving Lillard for the 2nd half because "LMA is better in the 1st half" (we did this with Roy as well)...predictable gameplay and the Blazers fell behind. Second Half: LMA does not play because of injury and Batum is also gone. Now we see more of the ball in Damien's hands, more pick and rolls and more penetration from Dame and the team is able to get closer by being more competitive and awake (They did lose at the end anyway). Very interested to see the adjustments in play from Stotts and Lillard.
You are 100% correct. And thats exactly what they should sell us. "We overturned the roster and we think we have some pieces, but we have no idea"
