right......anyways.......This laker team might have the biggest game the history of its impressive run tomorrow night. The Spurs have the advantage of being in front of their home crowd and as Mel pointed out earlier the refs have given a decided advantage to the home team in every game. THey clearly want it to go seven games (though I think if it comes down to a decisive game 7 youll find the calls going the lakers way no matter where they play) and why not? This series has every right to be a classic. As far as a lot of people are concerned this series IS the NBA finals though I think its unfair to overlook the depth and reiliancy of Sacramento. However I think it is more important for the Spurs to win this game than the Lakers. The Lakers have already proven their ability to come back from 3-2 against a superior team last year and will still be gaurenteed a game in their house. If the Spurs lose the would face the embarrassment of blowing a 2-0 series lead and a lot of people think they just wont be able to win in LA. The Lakers will have a slightly physically exhausted Phil Jackson back on their sidelines which obviously helps though it remains to be seen how much of a difference it makes. Shaq will do his damage and kobe will get his points and it will be a matter of making sure LAs battered role players start cold and stay cold. San Antonio has enough depth that they shouldnt have to worry about finding someone to shoulder the scoring load so their main focus should be on defense. I think the key factor and who wins or loses will be Tim Duncan and his ability or inability to take over the game and even more importantly if its close down the stretch, to MAKE HIS FREE THROWS!!
I think the Spurs will win convincingly and win the series in 7 games

i don't think the spurs can take 2 out of 3 against the lakers. they are going to choke at home either tomorrow or in game 7. the lakers are a great road team and they will have a game plan to get it done. i expect the game to be close, and when the spurs find themselves under pressure at home as the clock winds down they will break under the pressure starting with their MVP. TD has failed in the clutch and will once again fail at home to the lakers.

Im not so sure I agree. The SPurs have shown theyre just plain better than in the past. They certainly didnt choke when they swept LA this years sesason series. THey did choke in game 4 and kind of gave the game away which makes mee think theyre more likely to focus and put the game away tomorrow. the lakers might just be too beat up and too exhausted to take 2 of 3 from the spurs

i'm not really impressed with the spurs regular season sweep of the lakers. the spurs lost their regular season series to the suns 3-1, so regular season doesn't really equate to post season success. i was impressed by their blowout in game 2 and holding homecourt for now. the lakers are definately beat up, but they find ways to win. hopefully the refs get their act together and keep the star players in the game to decide the outcome. i just don't see the spurs having the killer instinct to put a team like the lakers away. the lakers will draw from pj returning and they should have the energy needed to execute their game plan.

theyll execute but it just feels the way the series is going that it was all they could do to tie it again. they won pretty convincingly the frist two games and almost won game 4

TD does choke in the clutch but this Spurs team is much different from those that just gave in when the Lakers pushed hard on them...i fully expect a battle with the Lakers taking it in either 6 or 7, doesnt make a difference because i think all the games are gonna be close and hard fought...but i think that ginobilis confidence somewhat inspires the rest of his team...he has been a big big addition (not just statistically) for the Spurs...his attitude has been key in shaping the Spurs team into a 'tougher' one...and i do agree that SAC is still really strong but i just feel that without Webber that they will fold (eventually) to Dallas
