    Starting to think Trumpies' amazement and joy when Trump won is going to look a lot like our amazement and joy when we got the #1 pick and knew we were getting Oden.

    not at all. What you do not take into account is that many of us realize the futility of making any argument to those opposed that would change any opinions.

    Thus, I read, laugh and go on.

    - They can't write an executive order that passes muster, because the intent of the order is admittedly unconstitutional.
    - Alienating our closest allies
    - A pathological liar
    - A budget that is DOA, let alone abusive
    - Health care bill fiasco - especially as Ryan has had 8 years to craft something better than this slapdash bill
    - A wall Mexico certainly won't pay for
    - Wiretap!
    - Russia love
    - Most unpopular new president ever

    okay. Yes, dude is a liar. health care bill is debatable, some like it, some don't. Highly doubt any wall gets built but that's also crazy. The wiretap allegation is certainly possible. Regardless of what these agencies says, why believe them now after they have been apart of so much crooked shit? russia love? no evidence there. Most unpopular president? I mean yeah sure, among young people and people who live in New york, california, portland, any very left wing state. I am not a trump supporter, rather I just don't really let CNN give me my news or any other major media. I do the research myself and sort it out as should everybody else. I think Trump has gotten unfair treatment. It's fair to cal him a liar but all this nonsense about Russia needs to stop. There is no evidence. You understand that the DNC wasn't hacked. Wikileaks got it straight from the source. The only form of any hacking was done with Podestas emails in the form of phishing. It's crazy to me how people can just ignore all that, all the emails, Hillarys proven ties with russia https://www.nytimes.com/2015/04/24/...s-pressed-for-control-of-uranium-company.html

    How the DNC fucked Bernie sanders over and he sold out shortly after supporting Hillary. Yeah, Trump is not a good president but he isn't the worst. This whole Nazi talk is fucking absurd. People who scream fascist don't even know what it is. And yeah, the right was absurd too when Obama won twice. I mean, this whole left and right thing needs to stop if you wanna advance society. If you truly want to be progressive, you would look at shit objectively. I can't recall the last president that wasn't lying or doing crooked shit. The only difference with Trump is that he is not a politician. He is an egomaniac who lies and is good at manipulation. Obama was great at being popular and showing you how hip he was and everybody was just obsessed because he would dance on ellen and speak so great. Meanwhile, during his presidency, he completely let the NSA and CIA just gather all the data on citizens they could. They can spy on you through your smart tv's. Real nice huh? or what about all the drone strikes under his administration that killed thousands of innocents. That drone striking is a whole different kind of evil. Something Bradley manning revealed and also went to prison under obamas administration. Obama said he would protect whistleblowers. Snowden and Manning, not protected. You people are just selective. What, you thought Hillary would be better? a life long politician, Benghazi? standing behind Bill clinton and denouncing the sexual abuse victims of his. Back when she was a lawyer defending a 41 year old man who raped a 12 year old, this is the woman you wanted to be president? it's a show. Welcome to politics. They have you all sucked in. You sit and argue over it, families destroyed over politics and opinions. You are falling into the trap. Need I remind you about bush, weapons of mass destruction? you ever wonder why we have been in the middle east fucking shit up for 16 years? constantly in war, making the rich even richer and you guys wanna defend more greedy corrupt fucks. Makes sense

    I would sort of like to believe this post. But I don't know... This board, this state is way left. It embarrasses the hell out of me to see my state join in on the lawsuit against the executive order.
    Just another case of people that will not read the Constitution, have never read the Koran, never heard a Muslim call a hostage a Kafir and demand payment for him/her.

    It may take bad things happening among this crew, to enlighten this crew.

    MarAzul, just because we don't agree with you does not mean we are ignorant of the law, or the Koran, etc. It might be easier to think that, but it's not true.

    The executive order is a perfect example: The 1st amendment forbids the government from favoring one religion over another. That's the law. But the executive who made the order is on record saying that the intent of it was to block one religion, Muslims. On it's face then it was unconstitutional. Why do you think it the first executive order wasn't appealed? Because it was not even a close call. I mean, it's Constitutional law 101.

    The one who does not know or read the Constitution appears to be you.

    There's a general phenomenon I've noticed in cities. Any publicly accessible stairwell that is not lit soon starts to stink of piss. Non-piss-smell cannot exist without censorship and moderation.

    Actually, I imagined they melted away because they can no longer (at least with any kind of legitimacy) defend their choice of president. Time to cut their losses and run while they can. Also, after carpet bombing those who disagree with them via incessant insults (losers, snowflakes, libtards, et al) they got their feelings all hurt when the "compliments" were returned. Their retreat only underscores their gullibility, culpability and insecurities in this whole mess.....

    Take another run at it.

    You will find that Congress has the power to regulate who comes to this country and they have done their work. In 1952 and modified that in 1965. In this law, they gave this specific power to the President;

    "Section 212(f), states: "Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate."

    Quite straight forward I should think.

    But let us look at what you said specifically;

    "The 1st amendment forbids the government from favoring one religion over another." Oh Gee! Ouch, that is a foil!

    But let us take one more look, specifically at what the !st amendment says about religion;

    "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;

    Now I am sure you can see, what the first amendments says is not what you said. The Presidents order has nothing to do with establishing a religion. It is doing exactly what Congress has delegated to the President, for such a period as he deem necessary, suspending the entry of aliens from a list of countries.

    The first amendment is often misquoted and misconstrued.

    BTW, Carter, Reagan, and Obama have all used this exact power authorized by Congress.

    We could go into the Koran and differences between Religions that complicate the hell out of this but perhaps another day.

    That time line seem a little dated. It doesn't reflect the latest significant data.

    "Clinton received notably less support from young voters (18-29) than Barack Obama did in 2008 and 2012, particularly in the crucial battleground states she lost to Donald Trump."
