The term troll is fairly mild god. I try not to call anyone names in discussion. Just not needed. But having said that, I don't think KP is running the whole show. If he was Brandon Roy would have been signed in July and LaMarcus probably would have had an agreement in August. So no, I think right now they have very little control.

The control lies in the hands of the Vulcans in Seattle. But the Vulcans do not make player personal decisiions. Who the blazers will draft. Who they will trade for. Etc. That's up to KP.

That could be. But why was he so emphatic about the team option? Is it something you think he wanted. Or could have those instructions been handed to him by the group in Seattle. We don't know. We can only go by what we envision. I do think due to the length of the contract discussions that KP's hand was tied in this. And it wasn't until someone awfully powerful became available suddenly that week that the deal got done. That someone was Paul Allen.

Why do I say Allen. Mike Rice was convinced a week and a half before that, that the deal would get done by the 7th. Which makes me think the deal was waiting for someones endorsement.
