If you're not going anywhere any way and you know the poorer you play the better it helps your odds for next years draft...

    Why not?

Embiid and Noel sounds like the Baby Bulls Eddy Curry and Tyson Chandler. They didn't do anything til they left the Bulls.

Comparing rookies to LeBron is going to set you up for a lot of disappointment.

Dude, I'm not saying it makes sense, and it's not the way I would do things, but it's not like Wiggins went 11-26 or something. He got 5 shots and scored 8 points. :dunno:

Parker and Noel had decent lines tonight.

noel is not from this draft class, but yeah

    14/10/2 with 3 blocks and a steal

its gonna be hard to get a feel how noel is playing from box scores though, philly is so bad that he is going to get numbers regardless. i mean tony wroten can look like an mvp with some of his lines, but he is garbage

I was thinking rookies and confused that with the draft class. My bad.

Wolves lead Bulls by 1 and Wiggins fouls Butler with 0.2 left. I've never seen a more stupid play. What a bust.

Do you not remember Roy fouling Yao on a turnaround baseline 20'-footer, up one, with .7 seconds left?

If Wiggins doesn't foul, Jimmy Buckets gets an open 15' J ftw. Fouling gave them a shot to miss for the tie.

0.8 and then Roy hit the game winner. No game winner for Wiggins.

If Wiggins doesn't foul, Butler doesn't get the shot off in time. There was only 0.2 left and the ball was still in his hands.

making a game-winner or not, it was an incredibly stupid play. One you can understand from a rookie in his 3rd game after 1 year in college. Not so much in an All-Star with 4 years at UW.

We'll agree to disagree. Until February or so, when we revisit this. :)

Looked at it again. Butler had just fallen over. Wiggins was standing right there. There is no way Butler will make a shot there if Wiggins doesn't buy the fake.

He's one of the few rooks with a trade kicker, iirc
