I don't mind people disagreeing with me, but I mind it when people make it personal and pile on like a bunch of 10-year-olds. That's what this board has become.

    Okay back on topic.

This is the way I see it. I'm not as concerned with the individual accomplishments as I am with how the team runs when Lillard is out. What was really nice was the offense didn't fizz out. Maynor wasn't "lighting it up", but he was able to take the ball past half court and set the offense up quickly. He didn't turn the ball over either.

So when I see something like "disappointed", I just have to disagree. I am ecstatic that our offense doesn't suffer the moment price or Nolan check in.

And towards the OP--if we get "very average" play from the backup PG, that's already a huge futhamuckin win over where we've been. And it was for a trade exception and Ronnie Price being cut. Really??!

When your opinion is wrong, you're going to get piled on.

That's a very reasonable comment, without getting personal. I can respect that.

And when you make a personal attack, like you did, you can expect to receive the same back from me.

Ah, so when I make an offhanded comment about you sticking to politics, that gives you carte blanche to start attacking me throughout the board? Seems to me you are the one who got butthurt over a little ribbing, not me.

I think the timing of the thread was bad. It was a heart breaking loss and I'm sure many were a bit upset. Posting this, with its title would guarantee a perfect storm for everyone to jump on the op. I know I was pissed when I first saw it.

But reading it today with some sleep and some love from my girl; it actually wasn't as bad as I thought when I first read it. Not giving anyone excuses, but we are all fans here and wear blazer pride on our sleeve. Sometimes that fandom can cause everyone to flip the fuck out, including myself. Shit look at my threads on the hickson or anti-lma banter. Things can get personal, but we are all grown men. We all are blazer fans right? Let's just hug and move on.

    Much love and respect,
    Mags

Go back and read this thread. You were the one who started with the personal insults first.

Eh, he's clinging to me telling him to "stick with politics" as a grievous personal attack against his honor.

He took some fire, but were they "vicious personal attacks" as he claims?

whether or not he overreacted and called them "vicious" seems to be arguing for the sake of deflecting stuff.

Not saying he's innocent, and unfairly picked on, but it's not like he was completely unprovoked.

Starting a thread like this though....... what does he expect. He knew exactly what he was doing. Lock this bitch and let's move along.

That's not what annoys me. I'm annoyed that he is trying to take the moral high ground. It seems to be a common occurrence around here. Fling poo and then pretend like he had no part in it.
