Never have I said not to enjoy the win.......I am! I'm about to hop on a plane to Phoenix with 30 other people that are VERY happy. But I damn sure know Coach Stotts and Dame won't be jumping up and down about 1 god damn win over a tired injured team. Handled their business and now we move on to the next one.

I love seeing everybody freaking out about a win, but HATE seeing them jump off a bridge win we lose a game we should. Keep that shit real is what the players would say never too high or too low.

I usually wait to gloat when I'm 100% sure that I was right..... so like with Aldridge leaving, I waited until he had signed that dotted line to be a complete asshole know-it-all. It's the safest bet.

There's the subtle gloat, and then there's the 'I created this thread to rub your face in it' gloat. There's a distinct difference and you must learn to utilize these tools at the correct juncture.

I'd venture to say most fans here are still here because they haven't jumped off a bridge yet

Yes we know; you artificially lower expectations to safeguard yourself from the pain of disappointment.

Then you belittle people who don't share your lowered expecations. Well I'll belittle you my man.

It was a fun game and we played well, but lets try keep our feet on the ground here.

What i really liked was how effortlessly our new guys rebounded. Some serious length and hustle!

CJ was epic and even Crabbe played pretty good despite a couple of uh oh turnovers and odd missed breakaway lay up - but nobody sucked, so thats a start!

Pardon me for getting a bit salty, but who gives a shit what the players and coaches do or how they view a game or a win or whatever. We aren't players. We aren't part of the team. Our job isn't dependent on keeping a "proper mindset" regarding the team and its fortunes.

We're fans. We're emotionally invested in the team. We're not supposed to be rational, or be "never too high, never too low". We're supposed to care, maybe a little more than is healthy or reasonable.

If you want to keep yourself bottled up, and wait until 50 games into the season to decide whether or not the team is any good, that's your prerogative. But STFU with all this "that's how Dame would view it" shit. We're not him. We're fans, and fans are going to be fanatical. Deal with it.

Probably the first time I've sworn on this forum.

I'll probably go back and edit when I'm less annoyed.

Not that your wrong, but there's a flipside to that.

It is his prerogative. So he, and everyone else, don't need some manic individual responding to every God-damn post that isn't "oh we're the best!" and telling them how wrong they are. Not all fans are the same. Deal with it.

And how does enjoying the win = keeping yourself bottled up? Because he didn't hold a lawnmower parade afterwards? Please tell us the exact amount of celebration and irrational behavior that is appropriate after a win so that we may all be true fans.
