Homers get as much criticism as doubters do ...maybe even more. My point is that the team is the connection here, not the forum popularity contest. On the old Blazer fansite, there were only a couple of people who even liked the team. That was unbalanced....here, it's way different.

For the record, I have never deleted any of your posts.

For as many arguments as KS and I have gotten into because of our fundamental philopsophical differences on the psychology of rooting for a team, I have never deleted any of his posts. I actually like KS' enthusiasm and understand where he's coming from.

I don't mind your takes on the team. In fact, I enjoy them and agree with them at times. However, when it goes from talkin' ball to calling someone a 'tool' (even if you didnt say his name outright, it's clear who it was towards)... that's where the difference is, in my opinion.

That's about the most truncated, quick way I can explain it. When it goes from talking about a game with a spherical object to labeling people as this and that negatively, that's where it can get dicey. I hope this helped.

Sly has his ridiculous methods and I have my own. I edit/delete maybe five or six posts a year. If I see one that I think it just straight up nothing but meant to insult someone, I act. I don't see every single post in every single thread, so as we've told you before, if you see one that you think is in violation of the rules, let us know.

I sure do. I'm liking what I've seen so far, but with an uninjured Wes, Afflalo in the role we aquired him to fill, Meyers and CJ progressing, a re-signed Aldridge, and a healthy Rolo/Kaman and/or Freeland combo we would have had one hell of a shot at a title, with or without Nico.

I think there are also a number of HCPeeds (a combo of the two) where they range from overly enthusiastic to overly pessimistic.

Wait! I think I just described KingSpeed! I get it - stuff KingSpeed with 10 years of a diet primarily of donuts and greasy bacon-cheeseburgers and you have KS sized like HCP - HCPeed!

Does that mean I should start reporting Sly when he modifies the game standings to move himself up? :)

With the old starting five do Meyers and CJ progressive as they have? Theres definitely no way CJ scores 22 points in the first if he's a backup.

An uninjured Wes would've been great but there wasn't any way that was possible. The more I look back on the last 5 years I wonder if he was our best player. I was sad when Aldridge left but seeing the moves we've made and how our players are playing I'm happy we moved in the direction we did. We agreed to a deal with Ed Davis immediately when Aldridge decided to leave. We likely don't have his excellent contract if Aldridge is here.

Rolo was exposed in the playoffs, Afflalo is already injured again. We still have max level cap room this summer and next so the roster isn't complete. That flexibility isn't possible with a $100 million Aldridge contract. The changes Neil made look better today than 4 months ago and might be genius once we look back in a couple years.

Good luck this year, you guys have a team of guys that should be fun to watch. I really want to see Vonleh get an opportunity. Between him and Davis you guys could end up with a really good 4.

I'm a fan. I'm not part of the team either. I'm emotionally invested. I care. I was just sharing how the coaches and players react and handle a win/loss. Didn't mean to upset you.My job performance DOES however rely on my "mindset". Maybe that is why I don't get too high or low.

Exactly. You have a reason to take cues from the players and coaches. But none of us do, and to inform us that we should was insulting at the least.
