    Not as rosy.

2016: Lotto-protected pick going to DEN, our 2nd to CHI. If we make the playoffs we sit the draft out.
    2017: own 1st, no 2nd
2018: own 1st, 2nd can be swapped by SAC

The \ stand for "or", because i view both of these scenarios as positive ones. in my opinion JCross is one of the top 10 SGs in the league and probably the best ball-handler in the league, he is amazing.

The Clipps are probably selling him for a big btw, i would totally get him for Kamen.

Look at the bright side of this situation.....we're better off than:
    LAL - Kobe and scrubs
    DEN - nobody, no direction
    NYK - Melo and scrubs
PHI - will they ever crawl up

Even if LMA bolts, we begin a rebuild with Lillard, McCollum, Leonard, Vonleh and some other good players. It's kinda like a year three of rebuild. We just have to find another anchor piece.

How about we fully assemble the team before we start bitching about them.

Some of these threads are just...yikes.

I think KNK might be a playoff team with Lopez and Afflalo.
Sixers have a great front court and they can move Embid for a good wing (Derozan?) and they have some future at the point with Canaan+Wroten.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Yeah, not ideal, but the Warriors did trade two first rounders to Utah to dump the Biedrins and Jefferson contracts. The Blazers hopefully have one of their foundational stars already in Lillard. Lillard isn't Curry, but if he can take a step forward, he could be the Blazers version...he doesn't have to be equally good to lead a good team.

Ah, I see. To me that slash should probably be a horizontal line representing the continuum where at one end of the line equals "This good" and at the other "Gah my eyes! Fucking kill me!"

Did you watch Crawford torching us each time we played the Clipps?
He sucked under Nate McMillan, so what?

I don't care how bad we are. Last person I want on our team is that back stabber. I guess we could thank him for helping us get rid of McMillan, but he is a cancer. Pure and simple

lol i was angry at him after he left\traded (don't remember) but i didn't realize ppl are STILL mad at him.
I don't like the Kobes of the world but Jamal is a great 6th man.

We don't have a backup PG or SG, it's not like we need to invest minutes in Frazier.

We have a much younger 6th man already. And if we really suck, then I don't think I can stomach his constant whining on Twitter about losing.

He is such a diva dude. Have you been paying attention to his Twitter? Any adversity and he starts crying to his fans

You don't get it. I hated his game before we got him.

EDIT: The day he left was like a dark cloud being lifted. It made it possible for me to think about enjoying Blazers basketball again after that shitshow he and Fail-Ton put on display post trade deadline.

+> They once attracted elitists that always wanted to be seen at the scene. That has been Diane Cannon and Jack Nicholson @ courtside.

I was going to suggest we could use our cap space to eat a Joe Johnson like contract but then I remembered the Nets have no picks left to trade.

I would consider trading for Gerald Wallace but I think the Celtics want to stay above the cap not below in order to keep their numerous trade exceptions and their full MLE. If not they certainly have the extra picks available to make a deal.

Maybe the Bulls want to get under the tax and would send us Gibson.
