Nobody can go wrong with saying that LeBron James or Carmelo Anthony will win rookie of the year.

The "Why's" are the most important part.

They Nuggets will be better than last year of course, I think they can win about 15+ more games, which would be a huge step up.

    See ya in Cleveland.

Always makes me wonder how much say execs have in team schedules.

A money-making scheme if I ever saw one.

I was referring to the fact that the game is the home opener. And actually, they would play twice.

someone has to play cleveland in their home opener. its not that big of a deal. the big deal is that they are NATIONALLY TELEVISING a game between two teams taht each won 17 games last year.

and no, the nuggets play in cleveland ONCE per year.

It is a big deal. Both franchises are trying to set a tone for the season, increasing sales. I meant that they play EACH OTHER twice a year.

Yeah, but it'd be different if they were putting the Lakers vs. the Wolves in games 1 (because both have upgraded so much). It just seems weird to exploit rookies in this manner.

I never said otherwise. Simply that it's unconventional, but whatever sells......
