YES! forgiveness! I also don’t agree with her discrimination claim. I was just letting you know what she was suing for. The principal said”The employment application, which she filled out, clearly states that as a leader before our students we require all teachers to maintain and communicate the values and purpose of our school.” I don’t know if this will hold up in court. It was the application and not the actual contract for the position. I think we agree that invasion of privacy will stick though. There was a boy who stole my wallet in Catholic school. The principal called us to the office, made him return the wallet and apologize to me. Our basketball court was vandalized as well and I remember praying for those who did it at the school mass. One boy was even found with a joint in his bag. Even he was expelled. If I was in a position of authority I’d do something similar. Yes, but this woman’s actions do not directly affect her teaching ability. If she’d raped someone or stole from the school then I’d say she’d deserve to be fired. Yeah, but the punishment should fit the crime. If she had lied about her weight would she deserve a similar punishment??? The transgression was so small that I think some tolerance and discretion is in order. I think the principal just didn't want to give her maternity leave.
How many men died building the Golden Gate Bridge? That was a govt. project. The highways? Another govt. project. The Empire State Building? Not a govt. project. The Hoover Dam? Another govt. project. Some jobs are just risky, and they probably pay like they're risky.
