Leonard said he learned it wrong his first two years. Ironically he came around once Kaman came around
Leonard clearly improved when Kaman was brought in. Kaman is a really vocal big man coach, the fact is, Meyers doesn't need Dad around anymore. He grew up in Memphis. So did CJ.
I hope Meyers can understand why it had to be done and move on with his growth. Glad they kept Kaman just for that reason and wouldn't be surprised if the get a veteran PG or Wing to do the same thing with the guards.
only if he will come back on a one year contract; I don't think we will take anyone who is not a good player and 25 or under on more than a one year contract.
I was thinking that in my original disappointment and thinking about how to avoid a really bad year, but i don't want to take time away from any of our four young bigs.
I think we should try to go after Ben McLemore. The Kings seem down on him, he has a lot of talent, and I think he could be a nice piece to develop.
Not really sure what it would cost, but I would be open to trading CJ while his value is high. He's too much of a tweener, and not enough of a ball handler to be able to shoulder the load at point guard. I would rather sign an actual point guard and trade for McLemore. CJ + Crabbe for McLemore. Sign Andre Miller (he would go nuts on this team with Plums, Davis, Vonleh, and Leonard.) Throw an offer at KJ for 7 million. Throw an offer at Kanter for max. If the Rockets and Thunder don't match your team would look something like this: Dame/Dre/Frazier McLemore/McDaniels/Connaughton Aminu/McDaniels Davis/Leonard/Vonleh Kanter/Plumlee
Afflalo was garbage. One of the most unathletic guards I've ever seen. I knew his defense was overrated but yeeesh it was bad.
