I hate to get this thread back on topic, because my dad used to have an MG when I was growing up and all these old car stories are interesting.... My brother who just graduated college and I live with just got confirmation that he will be receiving his check on the 30th. That means that I don't have to cover his rent for this month. I appreciate that. He graduated with a bachelors in science for the same sort of thing that @THE HCP does, so it is going to be hard to find a job in his field for a while. Luckily our lease is up in July.
I did get my check deposited today. That's one less thing to stress over. And just like that, it's gone.
Does the IRS have your banking information? I had to put mine in from my tax service. That worked for me. I did get my delivery date about a day or two later, I think. Maybe longer.
I updated my banking info on the IRS site 4/15, got my deposit date 4/27, and received my deposit today. Still annoying it took so long seeing as I have the IRS did have my banking info since they direct deposit to me every year. But whatevs. I'm sorry that yours is taking so long @Orion Bailey.
Yeah, we had to do the same thing, and just like you, it only took 2-3 days to show an update after entering our bank info.
i updated i think a few days after you when i realized the info for them to withdraw to pay my taxes was not valid. i don't exist. Im a figment of everyones imagination. ...or nightmares.
At the very least, if your inquiries on their site continue to confirm that you are eligible, and that they have an account to which to deposit the funds, you have some confirmation that they've acknowledged you're entitled to it. If we get into August and you still haven't received anything, you'll have something you can show them to confirm that you should receive something.
