@KingSpeed you're gonna need to either take some people of ignore or read the forum. One of these things needs to happen.
I thought they were on the same Knicks squad....maybe he was with the Heat then....if not, I stand corrected..I don't follow the Knicks much or the eastern conf...I know he was with the Heat twice when Fizdale was an assistant ...thanks for the correction
It's not always possible to read an entire thread...I often go straight to the alerts ...there are also long redundant arguments I will just skim over...folks should get a pass for those glitches in my view. We don't really have to remember all this stuff in the end.
Top gun is a dumb movie and how I met your mother is a dumb showwww 1. Trent 2. Chewbacca 3. Cameron (ferris bueller) 4. Jack (sideways) 5. The two cops in Superbad
OMG, you take that back. Top Gun is a cinematic masterpiece! Despite the last season of How I Met Your Mother being really crappy the rest of the series was amazing.
Top gun is a masterpiece if you like movies without a plot. Tony Scott was a good director but I don’t know, I hated this one. I just can’t get into any sitcom with a laugh track. That included Seinfeld, and I’m a huge Larry David fan.
Top Gun was and is all about that testosterone boosting roar of that F-14A Tomcat fighter. That scene on the aircraft carrier was the go-to clip for sales of surround sound systems for a decade after the movie's debut. Plot - crap. Acting - crap. Cool factor at the time- off the charts.
Yep, it's a crap movie overflowing with crappy actors and crappy dialogue. But, I saw it in the theater when it came out and it was the first movie I rented when I bought my first VHS HiFi VCR and again, the first movie I rented a couple years later when I bought my first Dolby 5.1 Surround System. I haven't watched in since. I grew weary of the whole home theater thing. I now have a dedicated sound system for music (two actually) and watch TV and movies for the quality of the story, acting, production cinematography, etc. rather than the booming special effects. Explosions that shake my walls stopped impressing me around 1992. I don't need that to enjoy a good story told well. BNM
