Sharpe of course. Greg Brown? Unfortunately I can’t go this year due to work commitments. I think they will be very fun to watch though!
First time in couple years excited to watch. I expect Sharpe to struggle initially after not playing in a game since high school.
Yeah, no doubt he will struggle. But it will still be good for him. Then you will get the fans who will say "if he can't dominate in summer league"........I may have to take a break from this board when that happens. The thing about summer league other than the fact that they add so many players that haven't played together more than a week, is that a lot of these players have no offensive skills whatsoever, and will be trying to make a name for themselves with their hustle. I would argue that the defense being played in SL is often equal, if not better, than the first 3 quarters of a regular-season NBA game. Some players are hacking away like crazy in the summer. It gets ugly.
Who will inevitably think that we brought them there to jack up shots and freeze out the roster guys that we want to see.
My guess is starters will be: G: Brandon Williams G: Keon Johnson G: Shaedon Sharpe F: Greg Brown III F: Trendon Watford Key Reserves: John Gray, Didi Louzada, Jabari Walker. They will likely sign another PG and C and a couple of practice scrubs to round out the roster. Should be one of the best Blazer rosters for Summer League.
