The characters and the plot are just so weak. There's no substance. They're so concerned with SJW bullshit that they don't even care about the overall story or having a good arc. Rey is such a weak character.... and it's sad because Star Wars has much much better female heroes. It's like they have their check boxes and they're making sure that they have all the politically correct points before they even give a shit about the story.
