I thought I'd bring this thread back just so we could all see how accurate our predictions really were.

Glad I wasnt on this board when you guys were doing that cuz I would have said a lot of worse things (I expected us to be around 30 wins this year...well I guess I wasnt that far off..assuming we lose out the rest of the year.

My prediction was 40-42 miss playoffs. At least I gave us a better rating than espn.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting ESPN:</div><div class="quote_post"> 28 (29) SuperSonics 37-45
Brent Barry makes a Week 1 return Sunday to Key Arena, but here's guessing the reunion does more to kickstart Barry's three ball than it does for Sonics. </div>

    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting ESPN:</div><div class="quote_post"> 29 (19) SuperSonics 37-45
Only two teams in the West have no shot at the playoffs, and this is No. 1 on that list. The return of Nick Collison will help, but it was another way-too-quiet summer in Seattle. </div>

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Supersonic:</div><div class="quote_post">Fiction: Our two best chances play the same position, and the West is too forward packed to accomodate Lewis.</div>

For once, I'm happy I was wrong.

    Whatever happened to Xman anyway?

I guess, like the real life Xavier McDaniel, he went back to raiding his refrigerator.

What did ever happen to Xman?

I don't want to go into the details of my my absence but lets just say that the fridge is empty.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Well I think Supersonic was reffering to them being a contender in the future, not this season cause obviosly we aren't at this point in time.</div>

Boy was I wrong, oh well I'll get over it.
