Magnifier answers my posts more than anyone. Since he usually agrees with me, this is a good groupie. He can follow me, it's fine. He's like a friendly dog. I think he wags his tail. You're cool with me, Magnifier. Maybe he usually disagrees with Nikolokolus, I don't know. I like both of you. Arf. Arf. I'd say Magnifier is bubbly and likeable, and Nik's analysis I respect (especially because I usually agree--unlike me, Nik is subtle when he disagrees with a crowd in a thread). Here's why Nik is right this time. 1) The box score shows that Thunder starters got a lot more minutes than Grizzlie starters in the 3OT game. So Memphis starters, on average, are more tired. 2) Don't forget that not only did they play 3 overtimes 2 days ago, but 2 days before that, they played 1 overtime. 3) Zach is built more heavily than the younger Durant and tires more.
ZBO must GO!!!!! I guess getting to the 2nd round of the NBA Playoffs does get you tired. I'd like to have that problem in the near future rather than not having it happen.
Wait until he dedicates a thread to you, Nik. At that point, shit starts to get unnnnnncomfortable, and you just try to calm him down. You're still in the NBDL, Nik. Relax.
Okay, I have started the thread "For Papa G" and I see that Magnifier has gotten a little more aggressive than in the past. So now I see that something outside this thread may have provoked things, and since I read about 10% of the threads, I am the most ignorant one here, so I officially retract everything I wrote in this thread and will now quietly exit the thread. <lifts self on soft pink ballerina slippers, silently twirls off stage, swirling the waves of his skirt>
A seemingly undisciplined late-30s man who plays video games online all day after inheriting a bunch of money from his dad's company isn't usually the foundation for a solid future, or even a solid present. So, it is what it is.
Yeah, if you want to be 18 forever. I don't have a lot of respect for those who are willed their money, and then literally play games while the people running the company laugh about the absentee owner all day.
Well, late 30s, sure, but you know, all this Spider Solitaire and Free Cell is not as easy as you think...
At least you didn't inherit your parent's money, retire, and get on the computer too much. 16, I still have a future to look forward to. Hey Papa, you have my sample waiting? Free dinner looks awful cold, hope I die before I get old.
Sample what? You're making less sense than usual, yet as old warhorses do, I feel an affinity toward you, and will lay aside my own board aspirations to help you out of your rut. Whaddayaneedmetadooo4you?
I'm in a Seattle hotel room right now. Unles you can meet downstairs in the morning, there will be no Belgian waffles with bacon and strawberries for you.
We got ourselves a Sherlock Holmes now do we? The amazing thing is you got all this because one post for PS network being down and a comment that my father passed away? Well since you want to get personal; I will be more than happy to share my life story with you; especially since you have it completely wrong. When I was 21, I started working for a printing company. The owner was ready to retire and because I was his manager; he offered the company to me. I got a loan for 40k and purchased this company. In 4 years, I took that company to a monthly gross sales of 12k per month, to 72k per month. This company that you said I inherited, was actually going broke. It was my father's company, and because I am all about family being the #1 importance, I sold my business, put a second on my house and sold all my toys to inject over 500k into this business. I went from a monthly salary of 15k to 0. The business was still failing and the second on my house was sucking the savings right from my egg's nest. My wife divorced me, I had to declare bankruptcy and I had to foreclose on my house. This all happened in 2 years. The stress of this failure caused my brother to have a massive heart attack; which in another thread I explained also made my father pass. So I was stuck with all the debt, having to take care of my mom, and a broken home. Only until 7 years ago, did the business actually become very successful. Now I own 30% of this company; from the initial investment I put into it and my mother and my brother's widowed wife own 70%. So please tell me what I have inherited? Seems to me that you went completely off-topic, and directed this remark towards me. When did I talk about your personal life? I think you are a sensitive piece of work, that posts in this forum more than I do (THAT SAYS ALOT). Do you work? If you do, then I guess you may need to look in the mirror about responsibility. Living in this forum like I've seen, proves you aren't the most responsible in life as you try and depict.
Yeah well I took that comment very personal. So just because I am happy go lucky, life has handed me everything on a silver platter? Some people handle tough life situations much differently than others. I choose to forget the negatives and focus on positives. Who wants a Debby downer around them? What business partner would want to deal with a company that has negativity surrounding it. My feelings for the Blazers are the same feelings I have for my friends, family and business partners. I think of all of them as a great blessing and I don't need some anonymous forum reg to think they have me all figured out.
