You'd think someone with those life experiences wouldn't fly off the handle when confronted with a differing opinion, yet here we are. I have a similar story, but I don't feel the need to share it with strangers. To each their own. Oh, and I'm the King of Oregon, and I live on tithings from various lords throughout my kingdom.

I edited again!!! Anyhow, I shared something personal about my daughters last year, and was treated to jokes about their serious illness by barfo and some other posters. Pretty much told me once and for all that this is not a serious place for serious people. So, while I appreciate you sharing your circumstances, my experience with sharing personal stories on this board has told me that it's not worth it. I don't mind people mocking me, or anything that I share that is related to me, but mocking my kids for something they can't control pretty much made me write off those posters, and if the few of them are ever at a board function, I will confront them about their words toward my kids.
