Tara is a better fit right now IMO. Bigger body, healthy while Kane isn't and there are some concerns he may not be this season, and Kane's cap hit is $3M more.

“It’s not like the happiest I’ve been to hear about a trade,” Kane said Friday via Mark Lazerus. “If things are going to happen, that was a team I was definitely looking at. It seems like they kind of filled their void and went ahead and made a deal.”

I'm still amazed at the haul Drury got for Blais and picks, I'm impressed that none of the talking heads had this on their radar. Whatever GG does Tarasenko is a great addition to address the PP which should be better. No need for Kane to get salty, maybe Drury has another deal in the works!

I don't quite know how they'd fit his salary but i saw that they do have interest in signing Kane after the year. Tarasenko could certainly be a possibility too. I think Kravtsov gets moved at the draft to recoup the pick they just traded, or a high 2nd.

Kravtsov is going to be moved before the deadline. His game sucks for the playoffs right now. Only reason he’s playing is they are hoping some team will get interested.

I can understand Kane being a little upset as the Rangers were a main suitor, plus playing with Panarin and in NY for a solid team. I'd be a little disappointed too but he will still likely be traded somewhere. If he wasn't injured he would've likely been the guy, though it would've cost more in assets for the Rangers.
