Rasheed can definitely play the Center spot. Chris webber is undoubtedly a better player than nazr, so I think eventually he will start. although I wouldn't be terribly surprised to see webber come off the bench in a dyess-esque role.

Whatever you guys can think what you want, but I actually experienced having Webber on my favorite team and I know how bad he is now. He doesn't care about winning a ring at all.l. The reason he left is because he wasn't happy with his role in Philly when they started giving him not as good playing time.

if he really didn't care about winning, he wouldn't be going to a contender. if he wanted playing time, he would be going to a crappy team where he would get a bigger role. he wanted a bigger role in philly because they were already a bad team. he didn't want a small role on a bad team. I know he will be fine with having a sort of small role on a contender.

During half-time in the Nets v.s Bulls game, EJ, Kenny & Charles had C-Webb on the show. C-Webb, who was being interviewed while being at his own house or whatnot, said that he's not sure what team he'll go to, but that the "going to the Detroit Pistons" rumor was false. I'm not sure what happened now. Maybe he accepted being a bench player.

If he comes out saying that he is going to Detroit, teams will simply stop calling for him to join. If Detroit falls through and he ends up not going there, he ends up with no team. By not coming out and defining where he wants to go, he has a fallback option.

Yes he does not play good D now. And he does care about winning now that was the stupidest thing you could have said that he does not care about winning. All most as bad as saying AI does not care about winning. He left Philly cause AI left Philly, and he wants to win a title. Exactly why he left Philly he does not wanna rebuild he wants to win a title now. So how can you say he does not care about winning?I agree with (nba dogmatist) 100%Ow and I think Lakers be better for him.
