You can't take any side seriously. If Jermaine really does want out, he's not going to publicly demand a trade like Artest. All players say "I love it here in [insert city]. This organization has been great to me, etc." Isiah Thomas and Jermaine are actually very close. In fact, when Jermaine was a free agent a couple of years ago, he said the only way he will re-sign with Indiana is if Isiah gets an extension as head coach. I'm not 100% sure, but I think the Pacers lied to him and signed Rick Carlisle after they signed Jermaine O'Neal. But like I said, they are pretty close and even in an interview Isiah said Jermaine was like a son to him, or something of that nature. The Knicks aren't a bad team either. They could have very well been in the playoffs if they weren't decimated by injuries. No one wants to play for the Knicks? That's funny since Chris Webber said he wants to play for the Knicks.
