I actually like this trade for both teams, but more so the Grizzlies. The Grizzlies could really use a guy like Maggette who I think could develop as a star there. He is a multi talented player who can just flat out score and get to the hoop,he has a nice jumpshot too. Maggette is getting about 16 points per game coming off the bench...I can't imagine how well he would play as one of the key starters in Memphis with Gasol injured. As for Mike Miller, I think he would fit pretty well with the Clippers, with the absence of Vlad Rad the Clippers don't really have a pure shooter and I think Miller would take that role. Do the Clippers really need to do this trade?...noy really but this wouldn't be a horrible deal for them in getting the reigning sixth man of the year. But IMO the Grizzlies would be getting the better end of the deal.
K I'm stat boy:Maggette:15.8 PPG, 6.8 RPG, 1.3 APG, 43% FG, .091 3pt%(worst of his career), 2.5 TOPG, +14.58 EFFMiller:14.5 PPG, 6.3 RPG, 2.9 APG, 43.7 FG%, 41.2 3pt %, 1.85 TOPG, +16.31 EFFso Miller is more of a guard, and Maggs is more of a SF in their utilizations.
