One that makes sense to me is: Love to Boston They need rebounding awfully bad, love has that in spades Also, they have a ton of young guys on easy contracts to move and draft picks to send out to make it happen (which KP loves to collect) Handful of picks to Indiana (no 3) KP gets to start a new and play the draft, which is pretty much his favorite game right? George to Cleveland Cleveland puts all the chips in, Lebron becomes a permanent 4 I guess it's unlikely that Cleveland and Boston help each other out, but on paper each team gets better (or in Indiana's case, more flexible)
It'll be one of the funniest NBA weeks ever if the Lakers trade the #2 for a player they could likely sign for nothing but cash in a year and Lonzo Ball gets drafted by a team like the Kings. Ball will have to learn to fake-smile while smoldering the way Eli Manning did when the Chargers drafted him.
I won't be surprised at all if they don't draft Ball. I don't think it's as much of a certainty as it appears to be. I will be surprised if they are dumb enough to offer a #2 pick for an expiring player who is said to want to sign for them on a free next season. They could maybe offer Russell for him though. I am not sure he fits next to Ball although there is chance that he does, with his shooting ability which is probably the only thing he is projecting to become consistently truly good at.
