The main problem right now is that we are loaded with 5 potential point guards (James, Alston, Lucas, Spanoulis, and Head). I say we keep Head, Spanoulis, James obviously. We need to package Alston and Lucas outta here for a decent PF.
I say Luther should be our backup SG, his natural position. Small, yes, but he's 2 inches taller than Wesley, who was our starting PG 2 years ago. What happened last year was that JVG didn't believe in Spanoulis or Lucas enough to give them the backup role at PG. So instead, he tried forcing Head to become a PG when he really is an SG.
