They probably did it, because of the controversy over the first one. And also, because they just can. They were making fun of Mighty Ducks.
this latest episode was kind of different, the humour wasnt the same as usual, did anyone else think that?
I liked the announcer guy who came in at random times to promote Stan's life. But other than that, kinda a weird episode. A little kid who dies of cancer isn't really something to laugh at. And if there was a funny part, I felt kinda awkward laughing.

That hockey massacre wasn't exactly something to laugh at. I guess the message was to always give it your all. Though that doesn't make sense since they didn't win
There wasn't really a message. It was parodying cheesy hockey/sports films (Mighty Ducks, Miracle, etc.). They had all the typical plot devices (dying kid who's fate randomly hangs on a single game, the "ringer," the troubled coach confronting his own demons, etc.). They just made fun of it all and instead of having a typical happy ending, they did the exact opposite. I'm not saying it made it funny, because I was kind of bored, but there really wasn't a message.
I thought they were doing the above and making fun of their own movie BASEketball. Bad way to finish season 10 imo. Hopefully season 11 is better.
