Short season. The season finale is next Friday.

But it's been a hell of a season.

I'm never disappointed in this show... well, except the pilot. But it seems to get better with every episode. I'm sad to see Andy Whitfield go, but I'm glad that I'm more interested in the supporting characters. Maybe the best TV show to ever come from outside the states.

I keep bumping this thread because this is how I watch the episodes. I recently switched from DirecTV to FIOS and I didn't get STARZ with my package. I LOVE this freaking show! I certainly hope the replacement for Whitfield is good, cause that will be a difficult character to replace.

I just started the prequel season. That blindfolded guy was badass!

Awesome show. I've only started watching this season on Netflix. So I guess I'm starting with the "prequel", which suits me fine. I hate prequels in general.

If I had to pick one word to describe it, I'd go with "gratuitous." It's the very definition of "filthy pleasure not-outright-porn uberviolent television."

Isn't the first season with Spartacus on Netflix? I don't know, I'm confused.

It is. I watched one episode of the second season because Netflix recommended it to me. I was hooked after that. When I realized it was a prequel series, I thought "Awesome!" and am now planning to watch the first season afterward.

Wait until you see the finale of the first season. One of the best episodes of TV I've ever seen!

Wait, I recommend this show and you don't watch it but Netflix recommends it so you do watch it?

I am so hurt right now.

Sorry, but the Netflix cloud computer caresses my synapses better than any internet poster can, teasing my soul out of every dendrite to divine that I would enjoy Nuns On The Run but not Jumping Jack Flash. You cannot begin to guess what Whoopi Goldberg films I would consider legit and which I don't.

    But Netflix can.

So how you could your recommendation of Spartacus possibly mean anything to me? You never stood a chance with your pathetic monkey-evolved brain against the technological terror of the cloud.
