I like the cloth masks that have the replaceable PM2.5 filters inside of them. I plan on replacing the filter inside the mask each day. I like the masks from here because with the filter it fits nice around my big nose. https://www.electricstyles.com/
I have one of these and safety goggles from my laquer spraying projects...charcoal particulate filters...best protection out there...double filters that can be replaced easily
Costco has some really nice disposable medical masks. And Fry's sells disposable N95 masks for a good price. On the plane we wear the N95s.
I have 250 disposable medical grade masks sent from family in Taiwan...freaked the post lady out when she dropped them off in a box with Chinese written all over it
MyVegas on FB, android and apple: Still one of the best deals around. Just some stupid games were you earn points to buy free prizes like hotel stays, shows, buffets, money to gamble with, ect. You can spend money on the game to gain more and better prizes. I spent $50 on it about 5 years ago and still have full benefits in the game. This trip since there are no buffets and shows to in Vegas currently I've redeemed my 6 rewards for a total of $250 in free gambling money at the different MGM owned casinos. Lot's of good facebook groups on how to quickly gain points to spend on prizes. There are even non-Vegas prizes you can redeem including cruises.
If you're looking for more apps to play to earn free stuff for your Vegas trip The Four Queens casino and Binions casino also have them. Nothing to buy and you can get free hotel stays and meals.
Coupons! Coupons! Coupons! There are two major coupon books you can buy. Both are good deals for the money. The American Casino Guide you can by direct or on Amazon. Coupons for food, shows, and free money to gamble with. And the Las Vegas Advisor coupon book. This one is great! Same as above, food, shows, and free money to gamble with. I have used both books in the past and have both for this trip. Between the two books I have coupons for about $200 in free money to gamble with. Plus some coupons for free food and drinks. Again, there are some good facebook groups that dive deep into this stuff.
I was in Tahoe last month. Had an emergency (son) and we had to go to Reno for a few nights. We stayed at the Grand Sierra for three nights, a big casino (for Reno). It. Was. Unbelievable. I had forgotten about the openly smoking all over the place. With covid. With people half-assing masks. Startling actually. If not for a more important emergency and literally no other options there’s no way I’d be in a casino of all places.
@SlyPokerDog are they still allowing smoking in the casinos in Vegas? That’s the one thing that bugs me about there.
You'll have a great time I bet. I've been in L.A. all week, moving my daughter down here. We stayed at the Hyatt is Sacramento and a great place in Santa Monica. Most everyone has been safe and smart. I wore gloves to pump gas (OCD lives @SlyPokerDog!), masks everywhere, and we ate at some very good outdoor places. And F, it was just great to get away!
Lifehack: Stay at the Wynn. Fremont Street has too many superspreader types. Stay upscale and isolated.
