I agree. Most of that was in response to him going to theater while still positive. Which come on @ABM you announce on a public forum you have covid then a week and half later your going to a movie. That is going to get a response. You knew that. Too, Sly has gotten more pre-vacation shit than you did. You didn't get any till you came back for the most part. If Sly comes back with Covid he will get shit too.
My wife took my kid to Minnesota for college - flew Delta because the promised an empty middle seat, made sure they had face masks + shields, the spent some time buying stuff for MN winters, got 2 hours to help the kid get into the dorms - and the kids got a Covid test when arrived, are supposed to stay quarantined there for 2 weeks and will get another one. The wife quarantined away for a week after she came back and took a Covid test (negative), waited 3 more days to ensure no symptoms and came back. So far, so good. Covid tests are not 100% accurate, so can't be certain, but it seems fine.
Fair enough. As I had mentioned, too, Sly has done a TON of COVID-related research for this trip! I'm really, really proud of my boy.
Just loaded this. Big brother is now tracing me. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=gov.nv.dhhs.en&hl=en_US
Folks railed into me for going to a movie right after testing positive for COVID. That wasn't the case, though. I probably contracted it on August 13th or 14th. I tested positive on August 20th. I quarantined until I was given the so-called clean bill of health by the state of Tennessee on August 31st. I went back and re-tested on September 1st, and was found to be positive a few days later. But, the state told me I would probably test positive for the next 3 months. They encouraged me to go enjoy the movie (yesterday), which I did. Masks, social distancing, washing of face/hands still apply. One of my larger questions was, if I followed all the rules, was then declared COVID-free (so to speak) by the state, then what makes me any different than, say, Sly, (or anyone else) when if comes to "safely" going out, etc.? OK, the many of you might reply, "BECAUSE SLY NEVER GOT COVID, STUPID!!" OK, I understand that response, but the fact still remains, I followed all the post-infection rules and was ruled to be OK to fly. I ain't sittin' in my home for 3 months.
Be advised...the second wave of this virus is hitting Europe hard now after lifting restrictions......some places with 3000 cases per day....for people like me with heart disease, this will keep us from being able to go anywhere even longer unfortunately. It's about keeping others safe, not about your own reckless choices. Second wave will hit us as the weather cools down The infection rate in Europe after relaxing is 3 times more than the strongest wave to hit the US so far and the virus has had time to mutate..be smart, be patient, stay home
Well, we will see if Sly gets Covid. Hopefully not. The reason you were getting so much shit is prior to your trip you supported and echoed the sentiments of someone who treated covid like a joke and didn't take it seriously. Glad you were taking it seriously on your trip and only got a mild case. The other piece is going to a movie a week and a half after getting a positive test. Modt of us here would probably elect to stay home even if we were told it was safe by a nurse and watch movies on demand, taking extra precaution for another week or 2, not just for ourselves but for the public. I get wanting to get back out and especially going to see a movie. Before Covid going to the theater was one of my favorite pastimes. I miss the experience, as over priced as it is. I get the nurse said your safe even though your positive. I get that if she said your positive and still contagious you probably wouldn't have gone. Either way its a crapshoot man
CDC says only 6% of their own reported "COVID-19 DEATHS" are actually "deaths caused by COVID-19" and the other 94% are people who died of other causes but happened to have tested positive for the coronavirus at the time of death.
Flight was half full landed at 9:30 was checked into our hotel room at 10:15. Got upgraded to a stay well suite at Delano, I had no clue what a f****** stay well sweet was either. Apparently the water in our shower is infused with vitamin c. Plus we have some sort of fancy filter thing beyond that AC, air purifier. Oh and we ordered a town car from Presidential limousine and they picked us up in a who daddy Cadillac Escalade, it was fun.
Misinformation. All were caused by Covid. 94% had other underlying conditions, but it was covid that killed them. The other conditions make it difficult for their bodies to fight it off, and the Covid killed them. Also Covid can cause other conditions such as pneumonia, other respiratory or heart issues that are also listed as causes of death.
I had a Stay Well Suite at the Mirage before. They had that Vitamin C shower, the wellness lights, etc. The Phillips wake up light was cool, better than the one I had at home.
Actually nursing homes in places like Nebraska have stopped reporting covid deaths to stop their businesses from dying and keep generating money....and many, many people who've died in the last 6 months were never tested at all...meaning there are probably many times more people infected than numbers reflect.
Shit, do you mean to say that I could have been using you as my personal chauffeur all this time. Damn, damn, damn if I had only known.
Rumor has it, Sly's cutting his vacation short because Trump is coming to Nevada! Maybe not LV, though... https://lasvegassun.com/news/2020/sep/09/trump-plans-for-nevada-rallies-conflict-with-virus/
