They don't support McCarthy because he isn't rabid enough for them. He doesn't want to try Biden for treason at Guantanamo or hang Mike Pence or execute Hillary Clinton for something. But don't think Republicans accomplished nothing. They got metal detectors removed so they can bring in guns.

At what point will people realize that a party that hates government, that campaigns against it and free elections, may actually know nothing about how to govern? They cant even elect a Speaker, let alone pass a bill.
Authoritarian dictatorships like the GOP seem to want to morph into give all the power to one asshole who decides who to kill, who to jail, who to send to war, who to invade, etc......they are the "fuck human rights because we don't want to think about complicated stuff " party these days. Precisely. When I saw that Gaetz was calling for him, I had to find out what was wrong with him. The connection was obvious and disgusting.
Their other option is Steve Scalise, who called himself David Duke without the baggage Yes, hard for resident Republicans to justify the actions of those they "loved".
