So if something that is reported displeases you that has yet to be proven or disproven, you simply attack the source.

    Ok Maddow.

I've been angered by public servants getting rich for decades.

I posted something about AOC here last year wanting to see her bank account in ten years.

Maybe we should wait for an indictment, if we can't wait for a trial, before we call him guilty. So far I haven't even heard of a government investigation.
I've only heard of Trump's condemnation, which means pretty much nothing.

Not sure what you were attempting with that broken run on sentence, but ok.

Again vague allegations of misconduct, but no specifics. What exactly do you think the Obamas did that was illegal or immoral? Is writing books against your code of ethics?

As usual, the point goes over your head...so again, you attack the source. And even worse, you vainly attempt to play the Grammar Police card.

My post was quite clear but alas, I can explain things for you but I cannot understand them for you.

Kind of, is it ethical that our “public” servants are almost always Millionaires or on there way to being Millionaires, even when their actual jobs as public servants pay modest wages. That they use their platforms as supposedly helping the public well being to sell some books and fill their checking accounts, does seem to create some ethical issues. Especially when so many of them claim that the rich are whats wrong with America while driving nice cars and living in mansions.

That seems super-thin. Yeah, maybe there was something hinky going on there, but there's no evidence whatsoever.

Company A gets a loan from the government. Company B has a Pelosi on their board. Company A and Company B are both subsidiaries of Company C.

That's literally all you've got there. Maybe there should be a rule than no one related to a politician should ever serve on a corporate board (or work for a corporation), but that rule doesn't exist at the moment.

Trump supporters know Trump is in trouble so their only recourse is misdirection, regardless whether their claims have merit or not.

What are the ethical issues exactly? He's not president anymore, he has no power. No one is buying his book to curry favor with the government.

Arguably, it is in the public interest for him to write books about his time in office. It's a lot less repugnant than becoming a lobbyist or the CEO of a defense contractor or something like that.

Trump is in deep deep trouble. He is in so much trouble that I believe that his election loss is a forgone conclusion. And here's the kicker, he's going to drag down a lot of Republicans along with him. It's kind of like how Hitler and Mussolini dragged their countries down with them.

Really? Which country do you think will invade to take Trump from power?

Repugnant? I dont know questionable ethically yes. Why would you assume an ex politician who’s still politically vocal has no favors to call in, and has no sway, and no one would find it beneficial to their cause to get him on their side. Seems really naive to think well he’s not a president anymore so he’s got 0 power. He’s got a lot more power as an ex president than like 99% of the people on the planet...

This has the results of that SEC action. It's interesting, but my read is that Pelosi was more a victim than a perpetrator. He's definitely guilty of not asking enough questions and not paying enough attention, but the real dirty deeds were done by others and he was mostly a famous name that the scammers used to raise money for themselves.

How so the dude still has secret service on him, he's getting paid to give speeches just on his opinions (99% of people don't even get that), he had 8 years to create relationships with law-makers, very few people get to do that from the position of being the commander in chief. I'd say his position is a lot better than most peoples...

    "Speeches"?...speeches to whom?

...and how do these speeches give him power? I mean, if he carried that much weight, Hillary would probably be POTUS instead of Trump...sorry man, you're a smart guy but IMO, you're grasping at straws.
