Switched back to the Rays- RedSucks game. Rays winning 8-1 in 8th. Nothing is worse than
listening to a RedSucks feed. Even when losing, announcers have used the word “great” for
every RedSucks play and ball player. What schmucks!

Having given up 7 runs in three innings en route to an almost 16 ERA in ST. Seattle announced the King Felix will not be the opening day starter. Felix commented that he was "mad" but failed to elaborate further.

I don't read the local rag that much, get Bay News 9 on the idiot box, then check the net. Today while at the laundry I saw a copy of the Times Sports Page so I gave it a look and saw an article on Blake Snell crying over the small raise het got this season. Granted the Rays are cheap, they could have done better but they did not. The man should have taken up the issue in private with the Front Office instead of squealing like aa poor little pig to the papers. He assured that he was ready to compete with his team mates for the '19 Series. I think Sniveling Sneel is now making 570,000 per year. These Ball Players have access to potential endorsements, their travel expenses and meal money are provided, bags carried, laundry done ect ect. One has to have talent to be an MLB Player but a smidgen of good fortune is in there as well. They need to think about that good fortune that put them in their situation.

I can just see Boner deciding “Do I take him out or leave him in?” with the likes of German,
Lasagna, or Cesspool on the mound. Such a scenario just makes my stomach turn!

The 1B dilemma......Voit or Bird? Since Yankee braintrust(?) will keep 13 pitchers to start the season,
only one 1st baseman will stay. I’m pulling for Bird. Voit’s weaknesses were exploited at the end of last season.
Too bad management cannot keep both.
