My guess is Bowen will guard Cassell in the 4th quarter of games and let Parker and guys like Ward to match-up with Cassell during the early part of games. You can't really stop Sam but just force him into tough shots, thats the best you can do with this guy. He is so tough to stop, those pick and rolls are killers for any teams.</div>

Yeah, your right that pretty much how it will be unless, sprewell is doing his thing. The thing I most noticed about the t-wolves lately is that Spree hasnt really looked to take over the game when he is in their with the 2nd unit. I dont know if that is just him still adjusting to being on the court with the 2 big additions to the 2nd unit(Hudson & Wally) but Spree has to look for his shot when he is on the floor with the 2nd unit.Thats when Spree can produce his points cause its harder for him to produce alot with KG & Sam taking most of the shots in the starting unit. Hopefully, Spree will get back to being aggressive in the 2nd quarter & early 4th.

He is not this season's MVP. I'm sorry if I misinterpreted your comment.

Parker sounds like he was playing at his best. People like him and Rashard Lewis will be playing at their best in a short amount of time. I see that in the near future. I usually hate close games, although I was sad that my team lost, you clearly deserved the win.

TD just dominates, much like KG. Seems the Spurs offensive game was on fire in this game, their defense always remains. Sad to see Cassell not able to be at his best, he does so well for his team anyway so it's alright. It was a very well balanced team against a very defensive team. Good result, shows how hard they all worked and just how awesome the Spurs defense is. Mayhaps TD's freethrows are improving, that was clutch LOL.

Duncan made clutch free throws, but IMO he didn't play a good game.
He couldn't buy a basket against the Kandiman, I really liked his defense.

Hat's off to the Spurs. Great game. The Spurs showed why they are a GREAT defensive team. You can do nothing, BUT, respect a person who shows up a team that is trying to take advantage of their deficiencies. Like Shaq hitting free-throws. Duncan came and hit those shots today. Would you think that the "Player of the Game" should be the person that scored the most, or came through at a tough time when the team was losing their composure to help them win? Anyway, we are tied 1-a-piece, should be interesting between us in the future.

I can't wait to see what the future holds, myself. I was excited to see us win.

You say this like Sam had a bad game.

    Sam vs Parker
    24pts 26pts
    10-14 12-22
    5ast 4ast

And Sam assist total would have been alot higher if the perimeter players were knocking down some of the easy shots Sam was creating for them. Nobody on the t-wolves ever really got it going with their jumpshot except for Sam.

I know Parker had an impressive game but that matchup was pretty even.
