It was a good game, I thought they were going to pull it through, but Francis didn't get that great of a look at the end of it.
*sigh* Idiocy is a plague. *adds someone to their ignore list* Anyway, what do you think he should have done, twolvefan11? He wanted to go for the overtime by himself, but Horry was going to let him have the open layup if he wanted it, but he backed off himself.
I think he should have went for the quick layup and fouled and try to score again. Francis was being selfish, and apparently Van Gundy isn't to happy about that.
He said in that interview "I coulda went for 2, but who's to say we'd get the ball inbounds? We had so many turnovers..." Who's to say the Spurs were to get in inbounds, either? They're notorious for late game turnovers.
This was a bad, bad game to lose for the Rockets. Even as a Francis fan, what he did was way outta wack. He's got to excercise some discipline to help Houston win, unless he gets traded before the trade deadline.
I don't understand what's going on with "Stevie Franchise", it's like he just wants to play. Like a pick-up game, "I'll go get my shoes, play a game or two, and head on home", there's more to an NBA life than that.

That's how good he is. If he's serious about these games, there's no doubt he'll be a triple-double threat every time.
My Opinion <div class="quote_poster">Quoting franchise3:</div><div class="quote_post">The thing about him is that even though he has that attitude, he's still good enough to average 17-5-7. Why put yourself in the situation for someone to question your desire? Not to vent on the past....but he comes into the league like "I'm not going to Canada...boo,hoo" and he skips a game in which his team was crushed for the Super Bowl (I can somewhat understand the Bowl because it is just that), but when you sign the contract, YOU SIGN THE CONTRACT TO BE THERE. He has alot of skill but do you think the "post & grind" game works with his flash? This is no disrespect to him or his fans, but he has the ablility to become a top-player in the league and he should take the challenge.
