That gives other teams less time overall to score. Spurs were 2nd in the league by holding their opposition to .427 shooting. For the Pistons, it was .438. overall, it's hard to compare because they're in different conferences.. the west is more run-and-gun than the east is.
I think San An has the best D. They have basically 2 All Defensive players in Duncan and Bowen, and then Robinson is real good.
bowen shoulda made All Defensive first team. then of course, they've got Stever Kerr- sixth-grade Masterlock Defender of the Year.
