<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Banks:</div><div class="quote_post">Theo is locked up, and T-Mac is unlikely to change teams and Parker will be the best PG on the market this summer.

The contract he is demanding is not a max contract. No team will give him a max contract. Many teams are in need of a PG, and teams with cap space like the Jazz, if they don't advance this season, Atlanta, Milwaukee and Portland all have enough enough money to sign him, and teams can get him via sign and trade also.

Parker isn't worth the contract he's asking for, but you have to overpay these days for a player to be kept on your team, or to be added to your team.</div>

Yea but his agent is saying that.
here is some Quotes from him: "We've been told (Spurs chairman) Peter Holt won't pay a penny above $64 million," said Marc Fleisher, Parker's agent. "We respectfully think Tony's value is higher and that it just makes more sense for him to wait until the summer."

"At those numbers, it just seems better for him to wait," Fleisher said. "I think there's a good chance he could get a max deal next summer."
