Perhaps calling for high-post ISO sets every time down the floor isn't the proper way to use a top-10 talent. Pretty sure you won't see much of that out of Pop this year.
Did you even watch the games? The body language of LMA said it all. Dude flew home on his own. If that isn't checked out, I don't know what is.
Then what else do you expect LMA to do? And just wait and see what happens when you ask him to fill in at center.
Only one player wanted to leave. And he only left because Wes went down. Had LaMarcus stayed, Wes and Robin would have been given offers to stay, too.
If the Spurs are such a great organization, how come the team has to practice in the parking lot? barfo
Well if you makes you feel any better, our starting point guard is fat and washed up... Good thing we got Patty Thrills as a backup...
LaMarcus is the only guy I hate on there. But I don't like the Spurs because he's there. Don't get me wrong, if Aldridge wasn't there, I'd be pulling for the Spurs, but Aldridge ditched us so we have no other reaction than to hate him. We all wanted LMA back.
The one thing that Aldridge can never be, with this move to the Spurs, is a champion. Oh, he may well be on a team that wins a couple of titles, but he'll do it on Pop's and Timmy's and Parker's strengths, not his own. He had a chance to stick here and let Olshey tweak the roster and, maybe, competed for a title that he could have legitimately said was earned with him as the centerpiece. As it is, he's just another guy Pop brought in to finish out the Duncan era.
No bitterness here. I hope LMA brings the Spurs as much success as Karl Malone and Gary Payton brought to the L@kers.
Not sure your reason for coming on here to show us a picture of LaMarcus Aldridge in a Spurs uniform, except to be a dick. My advice to you is ... Be careful what you wish for. LMA is no Tim Duncan. His basketball skills may match, but he is delicate with a fragile ego. He doesn't like others to shine so good luck to Kawhi Leonard. We have moved on here I suggest you do the same. Aldridge is your problem now.
Psst... The Blazer fans were excited each season too. Then Aldridge kept proving each and every season he can't lead a team to greatness. Good luck to you.
Speaking of exits, get the fuck out of here troll! Fuck Aldridge, and the horse he rode to San Antonio on.
LA kinda made Pops grovel to get him, and Pops is a guy who has never groveled for any other player. If things don't work out, Aldridge damn sure have a good exit strategy.
