<div class="quote_poster">Quoting olskoolFunktitude:</div><div class="quote_post">thats BS!!! BS!!! YES IT IS!!! EVERY player in pro sports is like that. Even if they werent, how would you know? How many NBA players have you slepts with?</div>
Well, I hung up my groupie boots years ago, but I have friends on professional teams and in organizations and they know better than you or I and I'll take their word for it. Some players care and others just want the paycheck.
And how do you know that I'm wrong, how many players have YOU slept with?

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">dont make up stuf either. Besides even if that really happened this is the fatal flaw in you and Simmons' assessment of Ricky. You'll find or make up one story that may or may not have happened with RIcky, point to it as an example of what he represents and how bad he is for the team and act like its the whole story and sums him up perfectly!</div>
I didn't make it up, its actually a pretty well known fact that he did that. You can look into it. I don't need to make stuff up, because I find the truth to be much more damning than anything I could ever make up.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">It's time for people like you and Simmons to admit that youve become so obsessed with hating on teh ricky davis you saw in cleveland that you are blind to what he has become and that is a positive influence on the team and the most enthusiastic player on the court at all times ecxept when tony allen is out there. No matter how old or old fashioned you are you can point to Ricky Davis (even if you hate his game) and say "now THAT boy LOVES to play basketball".</div>
Please, I don't have a vendetta against Ricky and neither does Simmons. The man has flaws (every player does) and you and people like you just have to suck it up when people want to point out problems with him. I admitted that the guy is a good player and that he has some very positive aspects to his game. But he also has some negatives and I feel that they outweigh the good.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">you cant say as much about several players on the celtics just by looking at them</div>
funny coming from the guy who JUST said 3 posts ago that he thought most of the whole body language thing was BS

Please! I was only using that in the context that you or others have. You use this idea that Ricky's "body language" somehow shows that RIcky doesnt "hate losing" as much as other players. Well if youre going to go by that logic you could just as easily point out the opposite; taht rickys "body language" shows that he cares more and wants to be tehre more than the other guys!

Yes, you could easily make that argument.
I just find it ironic that one minute your saying you don't think a player's body language counts for anything and the next your using Ricky's body language to try and prove your point...

<font color="DarkRed">Fellas, this particular convo needs to get somewhere quickly. Right now it seems less like a debate and more like a tit-for-tat arguement between 2 normally very good posters.

I'd like to leave this thread open so, let's get back to regular convo please.</font>
