What I'm really hoping for from Monta is that he goes back to playing off the ball a la the Baron days. Extremely high efficieny, he is better moving off the ball than given credit for, and he there are plenty of guys to drop dimes to him- Curry, Lee, R. Williams, perhaps even Udoh and Lin. He'll still get plenty of opportunities over the course of the game with the shot clock winding down or just if hes abusing a guy to iso or play the PnR. But the most important IMO is for him to score efficiently and not expend himself so that in the 4th quarter he can do what we all saw him do the first few months of last season. We saw him absolutely dominate in that beginning stretch of the season. He burnt out from having to do that for 40+ mpg every night. Now with Curry, Lee, etc. I would LOVE to see him play in the flow, score efficiently and with minimal energy usage, get plenty of rest, and then impose his will late in games when teams are clamping down and the rest of our offense doesn't have much going.
