How much longer till he gets his first triple double? Amazing. His passing ability is incredible. He truly is an unselfish player, even during his career @ SVSM he was unselfish. Suprising (to me) usually if a guy is "the man" in HS (and been the go-to scoring threat) he'll have a tough time adjusting when he reaches the next level (college or pros), but the King hasn't had this problem... because he's always passed. What a special player. [IMG]

I can't help but be impressed by Baron tonight. 29 points, 9/15 from the floor, 4/8 3s, 10 assts, yea, awesome game. But, his team isn't defending well at all. Hence the 68% from the floor by Chicago. But, Chicago, they need to not put Hinrich on the floor again. He's turned it over far too much. Just keep Crawford in. He's having a nice game, 12 points, 6 assts, 3 rbnds. Plus, that amazing 2/3 court shot to beat the 1st quarter buzzer.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Moo2K4:</div><div class="quote_post">Ok, I'm not really trying to nitpick at everything. I'm just sayin, all you people are so hyped up about them right now, and I'm just sayin that they've beat the Clippers. Not much of an accomplishment. But, if Rashard Lewis and co. continue to play like this while Ray Allen is gone, I don't know. I think I just need to see them continue to play well before I'm set on them. And that's the same with every team. Just like the Hornets and Floyd. I want to see how they continue to play for now before I'm set on thinking Floyd is a good coach and that the Hornets are eastern contenders. I'm just the kinda guy who won't believe the hype or anything til I'm given some damn good reason to. So, if Seattle continues to play well, I'll believe that they could be a contender. That's all I'm trying to say.</div>

I didn't say anything about the Sonics being a contender - and I don't believe we will be for a few seasons until Shard hits his prime and Radman, Rid and Collison start to mature a bit. I simply brought up the play of Flip Murray as something I had been impressed with. And it doesn't who you play in this league, 23@54%, 5 and 5 a game is nice going. Praising him doesn't automatically mean I'm calling the Sonics contenders, because they're not.

Yea, sorry, but, I misinterpretted it. Cause, I thought I read somewhere that someone said on this thread that they could be a contender, who knows, maybe I'm just going insane. But, yea, I hear what you're saying now.

Yeah just relax a little Moo2K4, yes we know the flaws these teams and players have, but by your method we might as well close the site then come back when the finals over.

Lets just have fun talking hoops and admire them for what they do.

    Tonight's stat

    Malik Rose

    20 points 22 rebounds

Which proves my whole point about the Mavs weak post defense..and the fact anytime a banger like Malik goes to the basket he will dominate Dallas.

Was a good game as well though...but Spurs again fall short on the win.

Ron Mercer is now also on the injuried list.

So the players out for S.A

    Duncan
    Parker
    Mercer
    Carter
    Garcia

Wow, monster game by Malik. Props to him. But, how much longer can they stay in games with all these injuries. They really need Duncan back. And I mean really need him.

    Parker could be back tomorrow

Spurs don't turn it on til after the all-star break anyway..So results at this stage shouldn't be a worry.Duncan might take up the whole of his 3 weeks to return.

Exactly, the Spurs are notoriously slow starters - I think they started last year 12-9 or something? And that was with TD and Parker
