I wouldn't call those real "life decisions." It was an analogy--there's not much meaning in asking what you want to get rid of unless there's some way to get rid of them that improves the situation. If you want to put it in "armchair GM" terms--waiving them accomplishes nothing and other teams aren't going to want the players for the same reason we don't want them. So in what way can the Trail Blazers make them "gone?"
Why does Shabazz need to go? Dude did great this year, best 3rd string point guard we've had in years. Quite frankly I think in due time he will find a bigger role on another team. I voted for Leonard and Crabbe to go.
All of us, including you, would've done what Hark did. I would've taken my half a mil with me to Dubai in the off season. What would you have done with yours?
Who do you want to keep is a much easier list....for me...Dame, CJ, Nurk, Turner, Vonleh, Chief, Shabazz, Ed Davis..
My votes: The overpaid: Crabbe, Meyers, & Turner (trade if you can -> in this order) Duplication of talents: Napier (too similar to Dame & CJ. We need a big defensive minded distributing PG) Non-talented: Layman & Meyers (I'll give Layman one more year, but I don't think he is quite talented enough for the NBA)
You dont think Homers can be rational? I'M a homer. We don't need to get rid of anyone, they are young and will improve!!!! ON the serious, Go can also mean to the bench right? I mean, I think Leonard and Crabbe have to go, one for salary cap reason, the other because he sucks. But I also don't think Aminu should be starting. If he wants to start, he needs to go, but off the bench, I think he fits a perfect role here. A lock down defender who can guard 3-4 spots. Make him our defensive stopper off the bench and get more scorers around him off he bench and he is a keeper.
