Their good reason is going another direction, and yes, Calabro is a much more of a national figure than M&M. Will it make a huge difference? Probably not, but its also probably only one portion of the bigger plan to elevate the Blazers on the national level. Change happens. Its a fact of life. Those who oppose will forever be let down. Calabro will make the broadcasting better and that's really all that matters isnt it? as far as a reason? An improvement is an improvement and if you don't think we improved then your in the severe minority.
Myself and most people I know always choose the national broadcast over the local one just to not have to suffer through Mike & Mike's homer perspective and senile ramblings. They were good in the same sense as a worn out pair of slippers that no one wants to see you in in public. I imagine it's a pretty small group of people that won't have forgotten them by the second month of the season.
