    Mods, please fix thread title.
    It should be
"Steph Curry is trash when not surrounded by allstars... or playing against Blazers defense"

Please change the headline back to it’s original to title or delete altogether. I am NOT ok with being misrepresented.

    It’s a reasonable question.

Decent players like Michael Jordan never had problems with double teams. What’s Curry’s excuse?

For the record, I don't think Steph is trash but I think an analysis of what he's done, with who he's done it with will makes a strong argument that as great as Steph is, he's not as good as Dame.

Historically I don't think they will ever be in same conversation. Steph is way better. He has always been more efficient even when he was playing with not so good teammates. He is just a better player.

*Lillard's best season he shot 46%. Only once Steph has shot lower than that.

When has Dame ever had the team that fit him that Steph has had so many times? Steph has had Klay and three and D+++, he has had Draymond who is all defensive team and 3, Iggy who is obvious 3 and D+, Bogut, Barnes and Livingston. Then KD.

Steph has just had way better teams and as far as efficiency? Steph has averaged 6.1 assists to 3.1 turnovers over his career and Dame has averaged 6.6 assists to 1.5 turnovers. Their true shooting percentage is Dame 170 and Steph 180. Given the rosters they played with and the coaches, I hardly consider Steph objectively better.

What is this "not so good teammates"? CJ is no where close to as good as Klay or Dray not to mention KD who is better than Steph and CJ is the best that Dame has had to play with during his better years leading up to his prime and prime so far.

This year for example he was still more efficient than Lillard has ever been. And before Green becomes the player he is he was better too.

My man with all respect Dame is an amazing player but only in a Blazers forum someone would say he can be compared to Steph. When it's all said and done Curry will go down as somebody who changed basketball, won multiple MVPs and rings. Dame is not the same and it's not a knock on Dame. Just like Leonard will neven be comparable to LeBron historically.

Not sure what number you are using for TS but it's wrong. Dame's best even was last year at .627 and this is the career average of Curry.
