So the best player in the nba is a career super team ring chaser who pretends to be hurt a lot of the time when he’s healthy, got it. ps he’s worth half a billion dollars, he should be doing the charity work he’s doing x 10, especially with how opinionated and vocal he is with his political beliefs. Let’s agree to disagree on the greatness of Lebron.
I didn’t say he was the best. I said arguably. He does more charity work than 80% of the NBA combined. He deserves credit for his work in the community. Just don’t understand the hate is all. Like they say, they only hate the Great Ones.
I hate Patrick Beverly too so... That makes sense since he’s worth more than anyone else in the NBA so he probably should be doing the most. I don’t think anyone who has lost as many championships as Lebron could ever be considered the GOAT.
I don't understand how people like you miss so badly when sizing up LeBron James. He's far more philanthropic than either of the guys you just said he didn't sniff their jockstrap. He gets pummeled all of the time like Shaq did because the refs seem to figure he can take it. Yeah, because he takes more abuse than anyone else in the league (I'm sure Zion will be close soon) he has to give exaggerated reactions to get calls. If people would use their common sense they might realize that LeBron taking another player's best shot might not naturally knock him down but it does dislodge him from the ball, so obviously he has to do something to get the call and not the turnover. That's when he takes falls. When he rolls around, it's because he's really hurt and when he stays in games it's because he tough. With all of the ball that you've watched since the 90s have you ever seen another player with so much athletic prowess? Have you ever seen a player with as well rounded a skill set? Really, you pointed out two guys who were great scorers and perimeter defenders when they wanted to be. Don't get me wrong MJ was so great at those things that I still have him ahead of LeBron but after MJ there's really no one else in the conversation for greatest of all time and you just want to shit on the guy. I just don't get it. Why in the world would "Taco Tuesday" even be on your radar? I'm sure you also hated "The Decision" that raised ten million dollars for under privileged kids. People who go so negative on LeBron really don't have a leg to stand on.
lol, you really picked a couple of POSs to compare. MJ was, and is a total asshole. He was also totally delusional as well. Dude literally failed at everything in life outside of basketball. F that guy. Kobe was a rapist and was all about himself and "glory" - not a team guy at all. When Kobe was 36, like LBJ is now, he was shooting 41.1 eFG%, killing his team. LBJ is a long way from perfect, but he's way better than those dudes - in pretty much every way, certainly a much better teammate.
That’s how you judge a players value? Shit he’s made it to Finals on his own with not a lot of help. Should get MORE credit for that! His teams lost BECAUSE of him? 28/11/8 average in 55 finals games.
Considering he’s mostly been on super teams I don’t think that’s a good argument. At some point losing 6/10 while mostly playing in the weaker Eastern Conference where it’s much easier to make the Finals should play into his greatness. Everyone can have their own opinion on LBJ, I couldn’t care less who likes him or not, I just think it’s insane to insulate he’s the GOAT.
Watching Wiseman he was clearly big, fast, skilled & coordinated. He also didn't know how to play within team concepts on either end. That should come with time/experience but he was not a positive for them on the court this past season as he was lost and having to think too much. STOMP
