Sorry about the dredged thread. During the Dallas game the other night, BP was lamenting to me how much he misses Steph Curry...and that we really, REALLY should have found a way to keep him. I told him we couldn't afford Curry due to cap-related constraints. BP replied that, since we're over the cap anyway, what difference does it make. I didn't really have a great answer to give. Anyone want to weigh-in with some more specific insights on this debate? Thanks in advance.
You mean Seth? Yeah it would have been nice. The correct answer is 1.) Blazers would have hard capped and not been able to pull off the Whiteside trade, etc 2.) Curry wanted more money than the minimum.
